Common Questions

Why do you recommend the $550 package over custom work?
It's where we do our best work. Our $550 process is refined and efficient. We know exactly what to deliver and how to exceed expectations. Custom work is more unpredictable, which is why we reserve it for clients who already know how we operate.
What's the $350 setup fee for?
It covers the real overhead of bringing someone new into our workflow: setting up your project in our systems, onboarding communication, and the back-and-forth that happens before actual development begins. Existing clients have already been through this process.
What if my update takes less than an hour?
We bill in 1-hour minimums. If you regularly need small updates (text changes, image swaps), the $30/month updates package is a much better deal. You get up to 2 requests per month covered.
Can I combine updates with hourly work?
Yes. Many clients use the updates package for routine changes and pay hourly when they need something bigger, like a new feature or design refresh.
Why can't I just pay hourly from the start?
We're a small team. Our $550 package lets us batch work efficiently. Pulling a developer for one-off custom work disrupts that flow, which is why we ask for either an existing relationship or the setup fee to make it worthwhile for both sides.
