These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Internet Crafters service ("Service") operated by Internet Crafters ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Internet Crafters provides professional website development services for $550. Our service includes website design, development, and delivery of a multi-page business website (up to 5-7 pages).

3. User Obligations

3.1 Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our services.

3.2 Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3.3 Prohibited Activities: You may not engage in fraudulent activities, spam, or misrepresent our services.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Project Payments: Payment terms for website development projects are discussed during the consultation call and outlined in the project agreement.

4.2 Payment Methods: Payments are processed via Stripe or other methods at our discretion.

4.3 Disputes: Payment disputes must be raised within 60 days of the disputed payment date.

4.4 Monthly Updates Package

Our Monthly Updates Package ($30/month) provides ongoing content updates for your website. Here's how it works:

Cancel Anytime: You can cancel the Updates Package at any time with 30 days notice.
Borrowed Credits: The package allows you to bank unused requests or borrow from future months (up to 12 requests in a single month). If you cancel after borrowing ahead, the remaining balance for the months you've already used becomes due. For example, if you've used 8 months of credits but only paid for 4 months, the remaining 4 months ($120) would be due.
No Borrowed Credits, No Balance: If you haven't borrowed ahead, you can cancel with no balance owed beyond your current month.
Why This Policy: We want to be flexible. Borrowing ahead lets you handle busy months without paying hourly rates. The balance policy makes sure we're covered for work already delivered.

5. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We're a small business, just like you. We know what it's like to take a chance on a service provider and hope it works out. That's why we stand behind our work with a 30-day guarantee: if you're not happy, we want to make it right, and if we can't, we'll refund your payment.

5.1 What's Covered (100% Refund)

The following Internet Crafters service fees are fully refundable within the 30-day guarantee period:

Design services and consultation fees
Website development and coding fees
Project setup and configuration costs
Any add-on services provided by Internet Crafters

5.2 What's Not Covered (Third-Party Costs)

The following third-party costs are not refundable as they are paid directly to external service providers:

Domain registration fees -- Paid to domain registrars (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy, Google Domains). Once registered, domains are typically non-refundable per registrar policies.
Hosting fees -- If you've purchased premium hosting through a third-party provider, those fees are subject to the provider's refund policy.
Third-party software licenses -- Any premium themes, plugins, or software licenses purchased for your project.
Stock photos or media -- Licensed images, videos, or other media purchased from stock providers.
SSL certificates -- If a premium SSL certificate was purchased separately.

Note: We use free hosting (Netlify) and free SSL by default, so most projects have no third-party costs beyond domain registration.

5.3 Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for our 30-day money-back guarantee:

30-day window: The guarantee period begins when you sign the Project Handoff Agreement confirming delivery of your completed website. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of this date.
Give us a chance first: As a small business ourselves, we genuinely care about getting it right for you. Before requesting a refund, please give us the opportunity to address your concerns, we'll do everything we can to make you happy.
Guarantee-period revisions: During the 30-day guarantee period, you're entitled to up to 2 additional revision rounds (beyond the 2 revisions included in your project), not to exceed 5 total hours of revision work. If we cannot satisfy you within these limits, you may request a refund.
Good faith: The guarantee is intended for customers who genuinely tried our service and were unsatisfied, not for those seeking to obtain free work.
One-time guarantee: Customers who receive a refund will not be eligible for future services with Internet Crafters. As a small business, we need this policy to keep our pricing fair and sustainable for everyone.

5.4 How to Request a Refund

If we've exhausted revision options and you're still unsatisfied, contact us via email or through our contact form to request a refund. Include your project name and a brief description of the issues we were unable to resolve. We'll process approved refunds within 5-10 business days.

5.5 After a Refund

Upon refund approval:

You retain ownership of your domain name (you purchased it)
Website files and code developed by Internet Crafters remain our intellectual property
We will remove or transfer any hosting we set up for your project
Any credentials or accounts created for your project will be transferred to you

6. Stock Photo Service Terms

Our website packages include access to professionally licensed stock photos and videos from Adobe Stock. The following terms apply to this benefit:

6.1 Initial Allocation

Your website project includes an allocation of up to 30 standard images OR up to 5 HD videos from Adobe Stock. This allocation is included in your website package at no additional cost for the first 12 months from your project delivery date.

6.2 License Terms

All stock photos and videos are licensed through Adobe Stock under their Enhanced or Standard license terms. You may use licensed media on your website indefinitely. You may not resell, redistribute, or use licensed media for merchandise or products for resale.

7. Yearly Content Update Service Terms

Our optional Yearly Content Update Service provides ongoing website maintenance and content updates. The following terms apply to subscribers of this service:

7.1 Annual Renewal

After the initial 12-month period, your content update service renews annually. The renewal provides continued access up to 2 edit requests, a 1 stock stock photo or video for that request, for your website as part of ongoing content updates.

7.2 Prorated Refunds (Year 2+)

Starting in year 2 and beyond, if you have unused photos or videos from your annual allocation at the end of the renewal period, the unused portion will be calculated and prorated as a refund. This ensures you only pay for the stock media you actually use.

Refund amounts are calculated based on the unused portion of your annual allocation
Refunds are processed within 30 days of your renewal anniversary

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Internet Crafters and its licensors.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Internet Crafters, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Arizona.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
