Readable at 45 MPH
A wrap is not a business card scaled up. Someone reads it from three lanes over, in traffic, for about four seconds.
Send us your installer's template and the dimensions. We design to their exact spec, so nothing important lands on a door seam.
Design time
$375-625Three to five hours, depending on how many panels you're covering.
A few days
Longer than a card. There's more surface, and more of it can go wrong.
Installer-ready files
At your shop's template, scale, and bleed.
The problem
The Door Handle Is in the Middle of Your Phone Number
Vehicles have obstacles. Door handles, fuel doors, body seams, window edges, the curve over a wheel arch. Text in the wrong place gets swallowed by one of them.
Signs have their own list. Mounting holes, the frame that eats an inch on every side, and the difference between reading something at arm's length on a screen and reading it from a car doing 45.
What you get
Who bills you
We Design It. Your Wrap Shop Installs It.
You get files at the exact dimensions your installer asks for. Take them to any sign shop or wrap installer you want.
Two separate bills.
- You pay us for the design time. That's the $375 to $625 on this page.
- Your installer bills you for materials and installation.
No shop picked yet? We'll tell you what to ask for.
What to send
What to Send Us
The template is the important one. Everything else we can work around.
-
Your installer's template
Most shops have a die-line for your exact year, make and model. Ask them for it. Designing without one means guessing where the seams fall, and guessing wrong costs a reprint.
-
The dimensions
For a sign, the finished size and how much of it the frame covers. For a wrap, which panels you're doing: full, three-quarter, doors only, rear window.
-
Your logo, at the largest size you have
Vector if you have it. A wrap enlarges everything, including the flaws in a small file.
-
The three things that have to be readable
Usually a phone number, a website, and one line saying what you do. A wrap covered in text reads as none of it.
What This Costs
Design time, billed by the clock. Bigger surfaces take longer, so wraps start higher than paper does.
-
Minimum
$375Three hours. A single sign face, magnetic door signs, or partial coverage on one vehicle.
-
Most jobs
$500-625Four to five hours. A full wrap across four or five panels, or a sign with more than one face.
-
Each revision round
10-20 minAdded to your time. Wraps usually need fewer rounds than cards, because the template settles most of the argument up front.
-
Hourly rate
$125/hrOur standard design rate.
We estimate the hours before starting. Vehicles vary more than paper does, so if yours turns out to be an awkward shape, you hear about it before we spend the time.
It Drives Past People Who'd Never Search
Somebody sitting at Grant and Campbell waiting on a light isn't googling anything. They're looking out the window.
A van parked in a driveway all afternoon does the same job as a billboard on that street, except you already own the van and you're paying for it either way.
The vehicle is already going there. The wrap makes the trip count.

Tell Us the Vehicle
Or the sign. The dimensions decide almost everything, so they're the first thing we ask.
We'll come back with an estimate in hours and what that works out to. No setup fee.
Got it.
We'll come back with an estimate, usually the same business day.

What if I haven't picked a shop yet?
Can you do just the back window?
What about magnetic door signs instead?
Will it match my business cards?
Do I have to be a website client?
Ready when you are.
Send the vehicle or the sign dimensions. We'll come back with an estimate.
