The registration, in your name

Your business on the ownership record, your email address as the contact. If we vanished tomorrow the domain would still be yours.

DNS you do not have to understand

The settings that point your name at your website and your mail at your mailboxes. We set them and you never have to open the panel.

Renewal that does not sneak up

Domains expire, and an expired domain takes the website and the email with it. Yours renews on a date you can see.

A transfer out, on request

Ask, and we take the registrar lock off and give you the transfer code. There is no retention call and nothing to argue your way past.

Domain Questions

Can I move a domain I registered somewhere else?
Yes. You unlock it at your current registrar, get the authorization code, and hand it to us. Transfers sit through a mandatory waiting period that no registrar anywhere can skip, so start it before you need it done.
Why are you not the cheapest?
Because we pay for a registrar with people on it. When a transfer stalls or a renewal sticks, there is a number and somebody answers it instead of pointing you at a help article. The difference is a couple of dollars a year, and it means nothing at all until the week it is the only thing that means anything.
Do I have to move it to work with you?
No. If your domain is somewhere you are happy with, leave it there. We can point it at your site from wherever it lives.
What happens if I stop paying?
It expires, and after a grace period anybody can register it. This is the single most common way a small business loses its website, so we will chase you about it.
Should I buy the .net and the .org too?
Usually not. Buying every extension is a cost that repeats every year to prevent a problem most small businesses never have. If a competitor is already on one of them, that is different, and worth a conversation.
My old developer registered it. Can I get it back?
Often, yes. It depends on whether they respond and whose details are on the record. Tell us the domain and we will look up what is public and tell you honestly how hard it looks.
