Somewhere for Your Site To Live

Most people meet their web host twice. Once when they sign up, and once when the bill doubles or the site goes down on a Saturday.

We host the sites we build. We will also host and look after a WordPress site, whether you are keeping it on purpose or on your way off it.

Current prices are in the store

Would rather not think about any of it? The $49 a month bundle covers the domain, the renewal and the email setup along with your monthly site edits.

What you get

True Either Way

Whatever kind of site you bring, these three come with it.

HTTPS, not as an upsell

The certificate is included and renews itself. Some hosts still charge fifty to a hundred dollars a year for the padlock.

One Place To Ask

Contact us about your hosting, domain or email. The products and billing terms you choose are recorded on your order.

The files stay yours

Download the whole thing and take it elsewhere whenever you want. Nothing here is a format only we can open.

Which one are you

Which One Are You

  • A site we built you

Static files, which is why they load the way they do. No database and no admin login, so there is nothing to patch and nothing for a bot to guess. This is the one we want you on.

  • Shared WordPress Hosting

Your WordPress website runs on a server shared with other customers' websites. We manage the server, and each site has its own files and access credentials. You'll edit your site's content through WordPress.

  • WordPress Maintenance Bundle

Our WordPress maintenance bundle covers core, theme and plugin updates for $49 a month. Shared WordPress hosting is included at no additional cost. Your domain, email and content edits are separate.

  • Not sure which you have

Send us the address. We can tell in about ten seconds, and we will say so plainly, including if the answer is that you should stay where you are.

Sometimes WordPress Is the Right Call

We will tell you which of those you are, the same way we tell people to go use Shopify.

Hosting Questions

Do I have to host with you if you build my site?
No, and we will not make it awkward. You own the files and we will hand them over with instructions for wherever you are going.
Most of this site argues against WordPress. Why host it?
Two reasons. Some businesses genuinely need a CMS, and we would rather set it up properly than talk them out of the right tool. The rest have a WordPress site that works and no appetite for replacing it yet, and leaving that on a host who never patches anything helps nobody.
Do I need a maintenance plan for WordPress?
Our WordPress maintenance bundle is $49 a month for core, theme and plugin updates, with shared WordPress hosting included at no additional cost. Content edits, your domain and your email are separate. If you choose hosting without maintenance, you're responsible for keeping WordPress updated.
What happens if the site goes down?
You call or write and a person looks at it. We are a small business, so you get somebody who knows your site rather than a ticket queue.
Can I host a site you didn't build?
Usually. Send us a link and we will tell you straight away whether it fits and what moving it looks like.
Can I not host a static site for free somewhere?
You can, and for years we told clients exactly that. If you are comfortable with a deploy pipeline, go and do it. What you buy here is not the disk space. It is that when a form stops arriving or a certificate looks wrong, there is a number and a person on the end of it. That is also why we are not the cheapest.
Where do I see my hosting bill?
Hosting bought in our store is billed at shop.internetcrafters.com. For hosting bought directly from us, your Stripe invoice or subscription shows the amount and payment details. Your order identifies which service you bought.
